On Saturday, March 19th, 2016 the world will get together and celebrate Earth Hour. An event that is held world wide annually, encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour as a symbol of their commitment to the planet.
You may have recently heard the astounding acceptance speech from the talented Leonardo DiCaprio when he happily won his first Oscar for the movie Revenant. Leonardo is an environmental activist trying to encourage others to save our planet. In his speech he mentions 2015 was the hottest year in recorded history, a global threat to all species on our planet.
If we start to make the change, united as a planet, we will be able to reverse the damage done to the Earth! Please join the world on March 19th, between 8:30pm and 9:30pm and turn your lights out.
Use your power to reverse climate change, together we can make a difference!
