Did you know, 100,000 Canadians suffer from Parkinson’s Disease?

April is Parkinson’s awareness month and we will be talking more about it and informing you on this neurodegenerative disease. Parkinson’s affects over 100,000 people in Canada alone and approximately 5,500 new diagnosed each year.  Most commonly you will have symptoms of tremors, slowness and stiffness, impaired balance and rigidity of muscles.   For a quick visual understanding, you can view this video by the Doctors on the the show The Doctors.  They seem to do a great job of explaining the anatomy of the brain and how this disease occurs.  Please click the link below to learn more.
