Physical and Mental Well Being
York South MS Chapter Education Series is hosting a physical and mental well being session Monday March 10th. This is a night for those with MS to participate in an information session on various topics to help improve your life dealing with the struggles of MS. Guest speakers include:
Matt Sanchez, MScPT, BScKin – Matt is a Physiotherapist at Aim2Walk Neurological Rehabilitation Centre, who will be discussing home treatment options for individuals with MS, with an emphasis on balance issues. He will also be providing strategies to overcome challenges of having impaired balance.
Michelle Wolfe RMT – Michelle is a Registered Massage Therapist at Aim2Walk Rehabilitation Centre. She also has a passion with nutrition and is interested in how to heal your body through nutrition. She will be speaking about Nutrition and the how it is important to eat the necessary foods to nourish your body and cells and how to incorporate the proper foods into your diet.
Patricia Tomasi, B.A.A, L.H.H.P., RYT 200. Patricia is a Licensed Holistic Health Practicioner, Yoga Instructor and author of Kick Ass Dreams: Live a Passionate Life. She will be speaking about dealing with stress.
