Keep Roaring!

Have you ever listened to the lyrics of a song and you felt like that song was written for you?

This YouTube video shows 16 year old Olivia Wise delivering an emotional cover to Katy Perry’s “Roar”. For the past two years Olivia has been fighting for her life as she is dealing with an inoperable brain tumor. In this powerful video you hear her weak yet courageously strong voice as she sings the words “Cause I am a champion and your gonna hear me roar”.

Olivia had the opportunity to record the song in a Toronto studio, and it officially went to air on YouTube mid October. Since then her video has reached more then 700,000. Katy Perry herself was touched to hear the video and has responded back to Olivia sending her love and courage.

Olivia has recently had to discontinue her studies as her health has began to turn for the worst. She is currently in and out of consciousness but her family and friends continue to inform her about the recognition and powerful response her video is having on the world.

Louder then a Lion cause you are a champion, and we hear you roar Olivia. Your roar is an inspiration for many of those out there fighting. This music video shows your courage and strength and it will continue to do so for an eternity.

The Liv Wise Fund, started in honor of Olivia to help support brain tumor research. So far it has raised over  $52,000 and continues to climb to the  $150,000 goal. If you would like to make a donation please click on this Link to the Sick Kids foundation.

Your voice and words have touched me Olivia and I would personally like to send my love to you and your family. I hear you roar!
